1929 Studebaker Dictator Ge, 6-Cyl., 113" Wb 4d Sed
STUDEBAKER — DICTATOR — SERIES GE — SIX: Production of the model GE Dictator had already ended by the time the “real” 1929 Studebakers were introduced in Jan. 1929. Following standard practice, the cars built to 1928-1/2 specifications continued to be sold as long as the inventory lasted. There were probably a few running production changes. According to the Jan. 1929 edition of MoToR there were only four models: sedan, cabriolet, Royal Sedan and Victoria Sedan. Standard equipment included a Stewart-Warner speedometer; gasoline gauge; engine thermometer; coincidental lock; rearview mirror; Trico vacuum windshield wiper; stop and tail light; Lovejoy shock absorbers and tire lock. The standard sedan had wood spoke wheels and a spare rim was optional equipment. The Cabriolet and Royal Sedan had six wheel equipment standard. The Victoria had wood spoke wheels and one spare rim as its standard equipment.
